Our current focus is Save the Children Philippines, supporting vital work in child protection and community wellbeing. As Barkada grows, we may support different charities over time while staying true to this mission. Because real impact starts with showing up.
Story of Barkada
The Barkada Project was created by passionate Filipinos in Australia with deep roots in sport and community.
Our connection to Filipino culture was strengthened through sport in 2014, where we found a powerful sense of belonging firstly playing with the Philippines National Rugby League team in Sydney - being around our people, playing for a nation with fellow Filipinos from similar upbringings, sharing culture, and representing who we are through sport.
Founded in Brisbane, Australia, - Barkada exists to bring culture and community together through clean, thoughtfully designed sportswear & casual wear, made to be worn with pride.
Because Barkada isn’t just a brand - it’s who you roll with.
